CBeebies 2015 Christmas Panto Revealed!

This years CBeebies panto has finally been revealed! It’s none other than Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland!

Cat Sandion (CBeebies presenter) will play Alice and Justin Fletcher (Many kids’ TV shows including Something Special and Shaun the Sheep) will play the Queen of Hearts. The Welsh choir Only Kids Allowed will also play a part in it.

We have a short synopsis:

The classic novel by Lewis Carroll has been specially adapted for the CBeebies audience, with high adventure, aerial acrobatics, laugh-out-loud moments and catchy songs featuring throughout.

Alice’s story starts at a riverside family picnic where she is encouraged to use her imagination by her family. The result is a playful journey through Wonderland, where Alice meets a colourful succession of characters and learns how to make believe.

You can buy tickets here, it will be filmed on November 7, 2015 and air this Christmas.

It will be the 7th CBeebies pantomime after:

  • Jack and Jill (2009)
  • Aladdin (2010)
  • Strictly Cinderella (2011)
  • Jack and the Beanstalk (2012)
  • A Christmas Carol (2013)

  1. My little brother loved the Alice in wonderland panto. Do you know if cbeebies are releasing a DVD of it. Please reply as soon as possible thank you

    • Since the Peter Pan DVD was only just released this year, the Alice in Wonderland DVD will likely be released in November 2016.

For now you should try and record it (if you have a recording box) or watch it on BBC iPlayer. It will be on the iPlayer until around the end of January. CBeebies also often repeat the pantos around Easter.
